Following the untimely passing of Dennis"INTERNETHULK" Hawelka, the Overwatchcommunity was devastated. As an answer to this dreadful event, the community has organized the"Hulktastic Cup", a for-fun tournament meant to honor Hawelka along with his contributions to the Overwatch community.
The tournament is not meant to be an example of the highest degrees of Overwatch aggressive play--instead, it's meant to put some rag tag teams against each other in entertaining matches as the community comes together to celebrate Hawelka and everything he's achieved for the Overwatch community. This is merely 1 part of the continuing attempt to honor Hawelka along with his gifts to esports. The r/competitiveoverwatch community declared that they could be naming a yearly award after the player, who had been known for his ability to scout and encourage younger gamers. Fans may send a letter of support to Hawelka's family utilizing the information provided below. Hawelka was set to begin coaching Team Liquid's League of Legends championship in the upcoming Spring Split.
